Stronger Than the Struggle: A Book Review

Stronger Than the Struggle by Havilah Cunnington

The tagline on this book is "uncomplicating your spiritual battle." With that lofty tagline, I wasn't sure what to expect. Would the book be heavy in spiritual warfare descriptions and Scripture quotations? Would it be full of personal stories?

Cunnington is a Bible teacher at Bethel Church and lead a not-for-profit with her husband called Truth to Table. Frankly, I haven't heard of her before. What drew me to this book was the cover. It has a Harry Potter/disapporating look. In this book, Cunnington talks with the reader how about to discern whether what we're dealing with is a battle within ourselves, resistance from God or a genuine fight with the Devil. I don't typically highlight or mark up books I read, but in this book, I was marking pages left and right. So much truth. So many great stories to drive home the concepts. I am very happy I was drawn to this book.
