CSB She Reads Truth Bible: A Review

This might be the most popular Bible right now. The "She Reads Truth" tribe is loyal and large, making this a quickly sold out item on Amazon and LifeWay. This Bible is the Christian Standard Bible translation, which is a fresh take from the NIV translation that I grew up reading. After doing some research about the CSB translation, I feel confident that it's an accurate and readable translation, having been translated by 100 scholars from 17 denominations.

The cover is a nice gray linen, the pages are glossy and thin (like all Bible pages) with wide margins that are perfect for note-taking. Each book starts with a beautiful image similar to the prints the She Reads Truth team puts out for its members during their monthly Bible studies. (Very gorgeous!) Also included are almost 200 devotionals and full-color timelines and maps.

Having looked at a lot of Bibles in stores, I have to say that this one is my favorite. It's modern in the design and images/colors. Obviously, the Word of God can stand alone, without all the bells and whistles. If you're looking for a Bible in a new translation, this one gets two thumbs up from me.
