The Space Between Words: A Book Review

The Space Between Words by Michele Phoenix

This book was an interesting read. The main character, Jessica, is caught in an attack on Paris. While fleeing the horror she survived, her friend Patrick urges her to reconsider and the two follow through on a trip they'd planned before the tragedy. At a flea market, she finds an old document and has friends translate it. My initial thought was that the two story lines - an attack in Paris and the old book's story of a young woman who endured the Huguenot persecution. And I still feel that way, but overall, I liked the story themes of two women hundreds of years apart who both endured terror incidents. The characters were likeable and well developed.
